DIY: DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION FOR YOUTH – DO IT YOURSELF!

This project was for teachers and youth workers from different European countries in order in to equip them with non-formal learning competences and needed for promoting diversity and inclusion values among young people.  

We came up with this project idea based on our common concern related to growing tensions in society related to accepting the diversity, which is affecting negatively young people and youth field. Unfortunately, schools are the environment where this often happens. Therefore, exclusion of people with different backgrounds, racism, xenophobia and hate speech are continuing to spread. To counter it, it is very important to act and promote the positive values among young people – diversity, inclusion, freedom, tolerance, respect for human rights.
